Welcome to 2nd Grade

Dear 2L Students & Parents,

I am very excited to welcome you all to what should prove to be a wonderful school year! 2nd Grade is filled with exciting and engaging learning opportunities and I believe your child will thoroughly enjoy themselves! I hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of summer and I cannot wait to hear about all your amazing adventures! This summer, for my family, was spent traveling from ball field to ball field watching my two boys, Christopher and Timothy, play for their respective travel baseball teams. They had a great time, some great wins and tough losses, but overall it was a super experience that ended with a Ripken tournament weekend for Timothy! 

I have many wonderful things planned for this year and cannot wait to get the classroom ready for all of you! I hope that as your summer winds down and you are preparing to get back to school, you have some time to reflect on the awesome memories you've made this summer! They should prove to be a great inspiration for our personal narrative writing unit and I cannot wait to read all about it! Enjoy the last few days of summer!
