How about cross country skiing?

Skis can be rented, one place to rent is Ski go home / Lyze go home, lyze-go-home.cz. Currently there’s only online booking. They can be reached at phone number 773 473 912. They have skis for beginners to advanced. Search for Cross country ski rental in Prague for more options.

With all the snow in the area, one doesn’t have to go far to get to try it out. How about packing a lunch, bring some hot chocolate in a thermos and spend a day outside?

Most ski areas also has prepped tracks for cross country skiing. (Lipno, Liberec, Pec pod Snezkou, Spindleruv Mlyn to name a few.)

Online activities

Even though most of us want to limit the time spent online, there are options here too. How about looking up online cooking/baking classes, drawing/painting classes? One perk of opting for online is your child is not limited to what’s available in the close proximity. Maybe you can find classes in your home country?
