🔺 Explor. Industrial Tech (7th Grade)
In this introductory Industrial Tech course students will explore the development of skills in communication, construction, manufacturing and power/ energy transportation by completing teacher - selected projects such as : drafting, drawings, introduction to wood projects.
Alternate semester students take Health
🔹 Industrial Tech (7th Grade)
This course helps students develop skills in communication, technological reading, construction, manufacturing, and power/energy and transportation by completing drafting projects, drawings, and introductory wood projects.
🔹 Wood and Construction (8th Grade)
This one-year course will examine different aspects of the residential and commercial construction industry including carpentry, and painting, with a particular emphasis on finish carpentry and woodworking. Through a hands-on approach, students will learn these aspects of today's high-tech construction industry and will begin to be prepared, both through academics and practical application, for more advanced work in construction. Safe work habits and the appropriate use of tools and equipment will be emphasized throughout the year.
🔺Intro to Film Production (7th Grade)
This semester-long course will introduce students to the exciting world of filmmaking. Students will learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling, scriptwriting, cinematography, editing, and sound design. Through hands-on projects and collaborative exercises, students will gain practical experience in all stages of film production, from concept development to final output.

🔹 Intro to Video/TV Production
(7th & 8th Grade)
This course provides students with introductory knowledge and experience in digital photography, video, and TV production. Basic screenwriting techniques, video effects, digital audio, and non-linear editing will be taught. Emphasis is placed on pre-production, post-production techniques, videography, editing, computer graphics, and TV studio production. Students produce videos and post to various media. Students will need to be comfortable filming and showing films of themselves to the class and the school.
🔹 Beginning Coding (7th & 8th Grade)
Students will develop foundational skills in computer coding through the use of “Scratch” and other teacher-designed curriculum. Students will create interactive art, stories, simulations, and games, and share those creations online.
