The after school program is referred to as the ASES/ELOP A-OK (Afterschool Opportunities for Kids) Program. It is funded through the State of California Department of Education Expanded Learning Division and serves a limited number of students.
A-OK offers a structured after-school experience that combines academic support with enrichment activities. These activities are educational, hands-on, interactive, and engaging. Students receive daily tutoring and homework assistance, and the Brain Blast curriculum is delivered throughout the week in areas such as language arts, math, physical education, and science. A healthy nutritional dinner is also provided.
Operated by the Santa Barbara Unified School District (SBUSD), A-OK is designed to meet the academic and social needs of the school community. It provides a safe, supervised environment where students can learn, grow, and participate in meaningful enrichment opportunities.
The ASES/ELOP A-OK Program provides services for student in transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.Â
