A-OK 1st-6th Program

A-OK provides a 1st-6th grade after-school program at all 10 of our elementary sites. The 1st-6th grade program provides care from school dismissal time until 6:00pm on school days.

The daily schedule below is an example of what a day in the 1st-6th grade program may look like.

2:30pm-3:15pm Check-in and Supper (see menu below)

3:20pm-4:20pm Scholar Hour (Homework)

4:25pm-5:25pm Brain Blast (Curriculum)

5:30pm-6:00pm Check Out

Supper

The students will be receiving supper on a daily basis from our Santa Barbara Unified School District Food Services department.

Scholar Hour

The students receive approximately an hour of homework assistance every day except Friday. On Fridays it will be replaced with Club time.

Brain Blast

The program provides approximately an hour for curriculum, which is tied to the common core state standards. Our curriculum consist of Language Arts, Math, STEAM and Sports. Students will have a different Brain Blast activity weekly.
