The South Brunswick Boys' Winter Track Team won their 6th consecutive GMC Relay Championship this past Saturday with an impressive total team effort. The team has now won 11 of the last 13 GMC Relay Championships! Although the team only won one event, the sprint medley (Bryant Williams, Anshul Jha, Jason Keiser, Jai Balakanagaram), they placed top 3 in every event except the 4x200 where a dropped baton left them in 5th place. The high jump relay (Bryce Ellison and Neil Kamdar) and 4x800m relay (Nate Goldin, Arth Batra, Ishaan Patel, Vishnu Maharaj) captured the silver medals. First time pole vaulters Tehmel Pittman and Zach Osei each had PR vaults to place 3rd. First year varsity shot putters Dedrick Agyemang-Boateng and Dhaanesh Karthikeyan also placed third. The distance medley, shuttle hurdle, and 4x400m relay teams would all also add 3rd place finishes to help secure the 58-49 point victory over North Brunswick.
