Summer Institute

Welcome to the Summer Institute!

The Summer Institute is an academic program offering credit-bearing and enrichment courses for students entering grades 7-12. The Institute is located at South Brunswick High School and is open to both in-district and out-of-district students.

Classes run Monday through Friday. The Institute is open from 7:15-12:30 during Session I and 7:15-12:15 during Session II. Check the course booklet for individual class times. Friday classes in July and August are virtual.  

Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the Summer Institute.

Registration for SB students is done through Community Pass - 

Community Pass Registration:

Below are the instructions on how to register your child for 2026 SBHS Summer Institute:

• Log on to register.communitypass.net.

• Type "South Brunswick Public Schools, NJ" in the “Community or Organization” field.

• Click “continue”.

• Enter Username and Password and click “Log In”.

• Under “Participating Organization”, select “SBHS Summer Institute, Click Here to Register"

• Review family information and Click “continue”.

• Scroll through the programs offered and click “add to cart” for the program you are registering for.

• Follow the steps to complete registration.

Registration for non SB students must be done through the paper application - Applications can be found HERE beginning March 6th.
