The SBHS Counseling Office is a safe space for students to receive help and support for their academic, personal, and career needs.
School counselors help students form healthy goals, mindsets, and behaviors. With the aid of a school counselor, students learn to develop effective collaboration and cooperation skills, to practice perseverance, to develop time management and study skills, and to learn self-motivation and self-direction habits. We are excited to announce that South Brunswick has partnered up with The College Funding Coach!
The College Funding Coach was founded in 2002 to help families understand the complexities of paying for college and make higher education more affordable. Through this effort, they realized that most families want to help pay for their children’s education, but they often lack the liquidity and the cash flow to do so. The College Funding Coach has established an approach that helps parents understand the college funding process, reduce out-of-pocket expenses, and simultaneously
balance the challenge of saving for college and retirement.
Whether you are a parent of a high schooler and you are looking for help understanding the changes to the FAFSA process, or you are a parent of a younger student and want to learn the most efficient ways to save for college, this event is for you!
