The SBHS Counseling Office is a safe space for students to receive help and support for their academic, personal, and career needs.
School counselors help students form healthy goals, mindsets, and behaviors. With the aid of a school counselor, students learn to develop effective collaboration and cooperation skills, to practice perseverance, to develop time management and study skills, and to learn self-motivation and self-direction habits. May 5, 2026 - Junior/Parent College Presentation- for Juniors and Parents!
The guidance department will be hosting a virtual Junior Parent Night. Some of the topics that will be presented include navigating the college planning process, current admission trends as well as alternative post-secondary options. Please join us for an informative evening. We look forward to having you with us.

June 10, 2026 - Senior Scholarship Night
All seniors receiving scholarships will be invited to attend this ceremony with their families.
Time 6:30pm - In person. SBHS Auditorium. Students and sponsors should arrive by 6pm.
