Below are the annual activities counselors do with each grade level by month. Please note, students and families have access to counselors for questions or support beyond what’s listed below.
For all students throughout the year:
If a student is struggling academically, counselors may meet with students or contact home. If graduation is at risk for any grade level due to grades, credits, or behavior, communication with parents/guardians will take place through email, phone, or meetings.
If a student is struggling with a social/emotional concern, counselors will meet with students and contact home if needed. Counselors will provide resources or make referrals to in school supports including Student Assistance Counselors or the BRIDGE program, or, make recommendations for outside services if appropriate.
