SBS ECA's Information

SBS runs a vibrant extracurricular programme to encourage exploration and curiosity as well as nurturing diverse talents and skills of our students.

Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) are a wonderful way for students to build relationships outside of the classroom and to interact with students across the various year groups.

There are many benefits of offering ECAs to students. Firstly, students are being exposed to new and exciting experiences. They get the opportunity to work with different staff and students from across the school and also discover what they are good at and what they interested in, which can help them determine their career path. As various studies have discovered, students who are involved in ECAs tend to do better in academics and learn to use time management. Taking on an ECA can build students’ self-esteem, help set goals for their future and promote teamwork.

SBS is pleased to have numerous activities on offer this term by the teachers at school as well as several Community Clubs led by external agencies.

These run on various days throughout the week. All ECAs are available from Monday through Friday.

ECAs taught by an SBS teacher are 50 minutes in length, while those taught by an outsource teacher or institution are one hour long.

A minimum number of students are required to open an ECA. There may be limited spaces in some ECAs and we will fill them on first come first serve basis.

Seat Confirmation: 29 December 2020

payment period : 4 - 8 January 2021.

Start Date: 11 January 2021

End Date: 28 May 2021


2. Transportation

SBS will provide transportation for ECAs that require to study outside campus; which is Swimming. For parents whom students take Swimming, please be prepared to pick-up your children at Mae ping Physical Therapy & Chonlapas Hydrotherapy. For more information about the location of both places, please refer to each programme's details.


3. Payment Information

On 29 December 2020, Seat confirmation will be sent out. Due date for payment is 8 January 2021. For your convenience we encourage you to make the payment via internet banking or bank branches. The seat will be cancelled if the payment is not received within due date. There will be no refund for any cancellation after seat confirmation and payment.


4. ECAs Alteration

In case of student's drop out once the seat is confirmed, the course fee is non-refundable and cannot transfer to other ECAs.


5. Schedule change and make-up class

Schedule is subject to change or cancel due to school event. Make up class will be decided and informed afterwards.
