SPEECH COMMUNICATIONS

Class Description

This class is designed to help students to communicate effectively in a variety of situations.  Since we all have to speak in different situations, students will learn how to use proper language, develop critical thinking, ask pertinent questions, explain a process, and debate an issue.  Along with these skills, students will also understand the ethics of speaking, analyzing the audience, situational linguistics, and the power of nonverbal communication.
