Scottsbluff Public Schools - Every Child, Every Day
I am thrilled to be back at Scottsbluff Public Schools for my 14th year teaching science! After growing up in the panhandle on a farm and ranch I attended college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Fueling my love for science I decided to major in teaching, graduating with a degree in natural sciences. Scottsbluff was my first teaching job after college and I am proud to be a Bearcat!
This year in the classroom I will be teaching Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Conceptual Physics and Physics as well as on the field/court coaching football and basketball. I am also the sponsor for the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) chapter here in Scottsbluff which is my greatest passion/calling. I truly love my job. What is better than hanging out with students, teaching and helping them through life?
Outside of school my wife Deanna teaches music at Community Christian School, our first child Rhen (5 yrs) will be in kindergarten this fall and our second girl Piper turned 2 in June. I enjoy playing with the girls, being active, being outdoors and playing any type of game. I'm just a little competitive (ask my wife).
