General Biology

Class Description

This course covers fundamental processes of cells and organisms, genetics, photosynthesis, respiration, growth and development, and homeostatic mechanisms.  It is designed for students that plan to enter college both as non-majors and as a foundation course for those planning additional work in biology.  This course can be taken for dual credit (4.0 hours) with Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC).
