The Secretariat's role is to assist the Office of the Chairman and Administrator in facilitating the government, conduct, management and control of the Agency by coordinating the control of information and decisions between the Board and the Management. The activity id carried out most visibly through the facilitation of meetings of the Board and its Committees. Maintenance of the official record of Board decisions, in the form of resolutions, is a major responsibility.
The Board Secretariat also assists the Board of Directors in their membership to various Committees as may be approved by the Board. The Board shall have mandatory committees, namely the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, Audit and Risk Committee and the Governance Committee as part of Good Governance. The Board may form other Committees to assist them in the performance of their positions.
