JOSEPH D. KHONGHUN

Director Joseph D. Khonghun, more fondly known to his family and close associates as "Boy", was recently appointed as member of the Board of Directors of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, representing the Municipality of Subic, Zambales on November 30, 2023. Born on September 21, 1954, Director Boy is married to Angel Dino Khonghun.

Prior to his appointment as board member, he held various positions in the private sector and in government, most notable of which were as Chairman of the National Electrification Commission from 2004 - 2007, as board member of the Bataan Shipyard and Engineering Company from 2003 to 2011, and as Business Project Development Consultant for the Office of the Mayor of Subic, Zambales from 2007 to 2010.

A strong advocate of brotherhood with a heart for the marginalized and underprivileged populace, Director Boy joined the Freemasonry of the Philippines in 1991 where he served as Past Worshipful Master of Pinatubo Lodge no. 52. Among his other significant memberships were Eaglecom Society of the Philippines, Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of Olongapo North.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering course from Adamson University in Manila.
