So we come to the end of term 3 in remote learning. The last week of term is a chance to catch up on sending in videos for the activities that you may have missed. If you are up to date with all your videos its games week. Challenge someone in your house to a game of one on one basketball, cricket, soccer, a game of movement monopoly from the resources page or sport or game of your choosing.

There have been some excellent dancing, gymnastics routines, skill development and trick shots sent in over the term so make sure you are up to date.
As we are about to start school holidays MAKE SURE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE ACTIVE EVERYDAY. Set up a challenge to see how many sit ups, push ups, etc you can do

1/ Complete week 3 Gymnastics
Complete a 1 - 2 minute gymnastics routine using a range of moves and post to see saw
2/ Complete Hand Jive video
3/ Continue Trick shots
4/ Run around Victoria each day, Run, walk, ride do a workout.
1/ Continue with Trick shots and make sure you upload your video on link from Week 4 below.
2/ Gymnastics work through Powerpoint presentation and complete activities in a safe space. ( upload a video to Seesaw week 6)
3/ Look at Dancing through the Decades and complete your 5o's dance for "The Hand Jive". see link on dancing through the decades page and put in the share folder
4/ Continue to load your kilometres for Run around Victoria by getting out for a run, walk, ride or circuit class each day
Practice Athletics and get ready for Remote House Athletics in week 5.
Watch the video (left) for some ideas or look through youtube for trick shot videos for some inspiration from Dude Perfect or that's amazing.
Then spend some time with someone in the family and create some multi skill or multi sport trick shots.

Warm up
1/ Skipping go to the Videos page and check out skipping video for warm up. Do 10 minutes of various types of skipping.
2/ Athletics work through activity 1 and 2 around starts and sprints (from powerpoint and video links below)
3/ Basketball watch the how to dribble video and spend time bouncing a range of balls, tennis, basketball, soccer balls etc.

DO THIS ON THE GROUND not on a BALANCE BOARD as in the video. How long can you last on one foot? Use any type of ball you have to move and bounce on one foot.

Welcome to Term 3 Remote Learning 2.0. and hope you enjoyed week 1 as a holiday!
Term 3 we will be focusing on moving EVERYDAY either by running, riding, scooting or walking as part of St Bede's travelling around Victoria.
We will also have weekly challenges for you to participate in and upload videos so we can make a regular "watch everyones skills" video.
The focus for your Physical Education class for the first 4 weeks will be around weekly Athletics activities (sprinting, jumping and throwing) and ball bounce and basketball.
We will also be running our remote House Athletics carnival in week 4
State Cross Country
This week will be Cross country for everyone to compete as State runners. The concept is exactly the same as our House cross country. Go t a park and run 2 or 3 Km.
The entry form is below along with the link to SSV website. If you are able to record a time you can see how you compared to others runners in the state.
