The aim of our enterprise programmes is to provide a response to the key economic development areas of growing businesses, developing places and raising skill levels to widen opportunity whilst supporting the key strategic priorities of the university through a focus on:

By creating new knowledge and relevant skills, our research and academic programmes will provide opportunities for business-to university interaction, resulting in research developments, innovation, spin-out and knowledge exchange.

We provide a wide range of business and enterprise support services for UWS students.  Our enterprise programmes are designed to help UWS students, staff and graduates and the wider business community enhance their enterprising skills and knowledge and develop their own business ideas.  Our online digital training seminars cover a diverse range of key business topics and can be accessed anywhere at any time.  These are augmented by a range of key business and enterprise tools designed to support the entrepreneurial process and are underpinned by our own enterprise research.
