AVID

AVID is a nationally recognized and distinguished program. AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination and has a very high success rate; 88% of seniors nationwide are accepted to a 4-year university and 99% will graduate from high school. Pacific’s AVID program had 97% of its 2019 seniors get accepted to a 4-year university. Students involved in the program take Focused Notes in their classes, receives tutoring from college-aged students twice a week, and learn pivotal organizational skills to help for success in college. AVID helps students achieve their life-long goals. This is more than a program or class, it’s a lifestyle!
