Ms. Elias: Librarian
Hi! I'm Ms. Elias, your GV librarian!
I'm a teacher-librarian because I love to see people excited about learning something. That "something" doesn't have to be a success from writing a research paper or getting 100% on a test.
Knowledge takes all shapes and forms, and can happen anywhere (not just in the library!).
I like reading and writing (no, seriously!), listening to music, watching films, exploring nature, visiting Disneyland, and cooking.
I have three BA degrees: English, Journalism, and Communications (writing and speaking emphasis)
(+ Teaching Credential)I also have a Masters of Library & Information Science and my Teacher Librarian Services Credential from San José State University.
Previously taught Journalism and English for seven years in Palm Springs USD, and was a librarian in Redlands for five years.
Favorite books: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.
