📢 Spartan Battalion Parent Update – Spring Highlights & Uniform Turn-In Info
Hello San G Families,
The 308th Spartan Battalion has had an action-packed spring—and your cadets have been rising to every challenge with pride, purpose, and perseverance. From military ceremonies to emergency training and formal dining events, they’ve been busy showing exactly what Spartans are made of.
Here’s a look at what’s been happening:
🎖 Change of Command Ceremony
We recently held our in-school Change of Command Ceremony, where we honored outgoing cadet leaders and welcomed a new command team. While this event took place during school hours and wasn't open to families, we’ve captured plenty of photos and videos so you can still enjoy the moment from home.

🚒 TEEN CERT Training
Cadets are making great progress toward earning their Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) certification. They’ve completed hands-on training with fire extinguishers and are now practicing search-and-rescue, first aid, and victim recovery scenarios—learning valuable, real-world emergency skills.

🍽 11th Brigade Dining In – This Weekend
This Saturday, San G is proud to host the 11th Brigade Dining In, bringing together cadet programs from across the district for a night of military tradition, ceremony, and camaraderie. Our SGHS Culinary Program, led by Chef Chanel, is preparing the meal—and several cadets will be helping cook and serve. It’s a true showcase of Spartan talent and teamwork!
🎒 Uniform & Equipment Turn-In – FINAL EXAM REQUIREMENT
