Supporting Student-Centered Transformation Across Washington’s Community & Technical Colleges
This page highlights current and emerging initiatives led or supported by the SBCTC Student Success Center to strengthen student advising, career navigation, and equitable Guided Pathways implementation.
Our projects are rooted in collaboration with college practitioners, system partners, students, and national thought leaders. We are committed to piloting, learning, and scaling what works—so that every student across our system has access to clear pathways, holistic support, and meaningful career connections.
📌 Early Adopter Advising Technology Implementation Project
A year-long, equity-focused initiative supporting a cohort of colleges in implementing new advising technology platforms—like ConexED—to strengthen Guided Pathways and student support infrastructure.
A statewide convening to bring together advisors, career counselors, navigators, and student success leaders for connection, collaboration, and co-learning. The summit will center the vital roles of frontline practitioners and foster systemwide alignment.
Check back as we grow this space to include future initiatives focused on:
Student engagement and co-design practices
Career-connected learning and regional partnerships
Cross-campus advising operating models
First-Year Experience and College Success course innovations
Equity-centered policy and practice transformation
We’re always looking to elevate promising practices and connect with others working on aligned efforts.
