お正月

We enjoy traditional Japanese New Year's games such as karuta (hiragana card game), hanetsuki (Badminton with a wooden board), kendama (similar to biboquet), and fukuwarai (game in which you play blindfolded). 

It is also our tradition to do kakizome, a New Year's calligraphy. Students wrote their favorite words and characters, or their New Year's resolution.
