Research Scholars

Mrs. S. Benitha Wises has completed her UG from Holy Cross College, Nagercoil, PG from Women’s Christian College, Nagercoil, and her M.Phil degree from Bishop Heber College, Trichy. She has completed two NPTEL courses relevant to her research interests. Her journey as a football player began at a young age, from 1996 to 2006 (district player), and she also represented Manonmaniam Sundaranar University from 2003 to 2006 and grabbed two silver medals. She worked as an Assistant Professor at CSI Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012, and she also worked as an Assistant Professor at Veltech Engineering College from 2015 to 2016. She worked as a content developer at Ksoft Technologies from 2021 to 2022. She is presently pursuing her full-time doctoral degree under the guidance of Dr. G. Arul Freeda Vinodhini in the area of fixed point theory. She has completed her synopsis.

Mrs. V. Sreelatha Devi completed her B.Sc. in Mathematics from Bharathi Women’s College, University of Madras, Chennai, in 2005, and her M.Sc. in Mathematics from Stella Maris College, University of Madras, Chennai, in 2007, both with distinction. She subsequently obtained her M.Phil. degree in Mathematics from Prist University in 2012 with distinction. She is presently pursuing her PhD in Mathematics as a full-time research scholar at Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai, under the effective guidance of Dr. K. Sudar Mozhi. She has over 16 years of combined teaching and research experience, including 13.5 years of teaching and 3 years of full-time research. She has served as an assistant professor of mathematics in several reputable institutions. Her research contributions include publications in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals with an overall impact factor of 18.45. She has presented papers at various national and international conferences and has participated in more than 40 FDPs, workshops, seminars, and conferences. She has also completed multiple NPTEL courses offered by IITs. Her areas of research interest include Applied Mathematics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Mathematical Modeling, Fuzzy Algebra, and Neutrosophic Systems. She is actively engaged in academic research and is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and student mentoring. She has completed her synopsis.

Mrs. Suguna. M is a passionate mathematics academician and Ph.D. scholar at SIMATS Engineering. She holds an M.Phil., M.Sc., and B.Sc. in Mathematics with a strong academic record. Her research focuses on algebraic structures (b-semirings), analytical and numerical methods for nonlinear problems, and fuzzy and neutrosophic systems with applications in mathematical modeling. She has published in 10 Scopus indexed articles and also indexed in WOS, and SCIE indexed journals and presented 7 articles at national and international conferences. She has attended more than 50 seminars including workshops and conferences. She has 3.3 years’ experience as an Assistant Professor at Apollo Arts and Science College. She is also skilled in organization, and teamwork, has completed 4 NPTEL certifications, and remains dedicated to research, innovation and professional growth. She has completed her Synopsis. 

Mr. S. Keerthinathan has completed UG from D.G. Vaishnav College, Chennai and his PG from Vivekananda College, Chennai. He is currently pursuing his full time doctoral degree under the effective guidance of Dr. G. Arul Freeda Vinodhini in the advanced statistical algorithms. At present he has completed one NPTEL course.

Mr. V. Selvakumar has completed his UG and PG from Arignar Anna Arts and Science College, Cheyyar.  He has won a university-level chess competition, finishing in 6th place.  He is currently pursuing a full-time doctoral degree under the guidance of Dr. Jayachandran in fractional calculus.  He has completed one NPTEL course.

Mrs. S. Kaniselvi received her UG and PG degree from A. D. M. College for Women affiliated to Bharathidasan University. She completed her M.Phil degree from Madurai Kamaraj University. In addition, she completed her B.Ed., degree in Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in Sri Sarada Mahavidyalayam Arts and Science College for Women, Ulundurpet, Kallakurichi dist. She has  13 years of experience in teaching both UG and PG. She has produced many centums and University ranks. She has cleared two NPTEL courses and attended many FDPs, Seminars, Conference and Workshop. She has presented in many 5 conference and also she received “Best Presentation Award”. Her area of interest is Real Analysis, Graph theory, Mathematical Statistics. She is presently pursuing her Doctoral degree under the enchanted guidance of Dr. K. Sudar Mozhi, Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at SIMATS Engineering, specializing in Fluid Dynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, and Maxwell Fluid Flow. 

Mrs. Kanchana P, an Assistant Professor at Syed Ammal College of Engineering, Ramanathapuram, with over a decade of experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Immaculate College for Women, Viriyur, a Master’s degree from Dr. R.K. Shanmugam College of Arts and Science, Kallakurichi, and a B.Ed. from Dr. Krishna Sammy College of Education for Women, Pondicherry. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. K. Sudar Mozhi, specializing in Heat and Mass transfer. she has presented three papers at recognized academic and scientific conferences and has actively participated in various academic workshops and seminars. And also she got Awards for her Research and Academics.

Mr. Mahalingam completed his undergraduate studies at Sri Muthukumaran Arts and Science College, affiliated with the University of Madras, followed by a postgraduate degree from the College of Engineering, Anna University. Subsequently, he entered in the industry and gained three years of professional experience as an Application Developer at Fujitsu Consulting India Pvt. Ltd., where he worked on developing practical, real-world software solutions. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under the effective supervision of Dr. K. Sudar Mozhi, with his research concentrating on fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer through numerical methods.

Mrs. K. Macharegai obtained her UG in Mathematics from Jaya College of Arts and Science, affiliated to Madras University, in the year 2004, and her Master’s Degree in the same specialization in the year 2006. She also did her M. Phil Degree from Alagappa University in the year 2007. In addition, she has completed her B.Ed. Degree in Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. Currently, she is working in Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology, Mangadu, Chennai, since 2007, as Assistant Professor in Department of Mathematics. For the past five years, she has been serving as HoD (Science and Humanities). She has more than 20 years of experience in teaching. She has published two books, namely “Statistics and Numerical Methods” in 2024 and “Applied Calculus” in 2025. She has completed five NPTEL courses and attended many FDPs, Seminars, Conferences, and Workshops. Her area of interest is pure mathematics, including fluid dynamics, algebra, and number theory. She is presently pursuing her doctoral degree under the guidance of Dr. Raghavendran R., Head, Department of Pure and Applied Mathematics, in the area of fluid dynamics in heat and mass transfer. 

Mrs. R. Nathiya completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics at Thassim Beevi Abdul Kader College for Women, Kilakarai, affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University and Alagappa University respectively, and subsequently earned her M.Phil. from Alagappa University. She qualified for the TNSET examination in 2017. She has published a research paper and a book. Additionally, she has completed six NPTEL courses, earning gold and silver medals with topper status, and received the NPTEL Discipline Star Award for the July–December 2025 session. She has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and seminars. Since 2023, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree under the supervision of Dr. Raghavendran R., Head, Department of Pure and Applied Mathematics, SIMATS Engineering, SIMATS, Chennai.

Mrs. M. Gayathri Lakshmi, part time scholar has completed her doctoral degree under the effective guidance of Dr. Arul Freeda Vinodhini in the month of October 2023. She has a teaching experience of 18 years and currently placed as an Assistant Professor at Saveetha Engineering College. 

Mrs. K. Ruth Isabels, part time scholar has completed her Viva - Voce under the effective guidance of Dr. Arul Freeda Vinodhini in the month of November 2024. She has a teaching experience of 23 years and currently placed as an Associate Professor and Head at Saveetha Engineering College.
