THE MISSION OF THE SHS LLC 

The mission of the Savannah High School Library Learning Commons is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; students are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. SHS LLC provides spaces, resources, and tools for all students were students are encouraged to grow and discover. The SHS LLC respects the diversity of its population by providing a safe space for all and a collection featuring print and digital books that provide mirrors for seeing themselves and windows for understanding experiences different from their own. The SHS LLC is guided by the following principles:
