Show the encounter, science probe and engage as a whole class. Show both videos for each grade level and discuss them together as a class.
Split your class into their grade levels for small groups. Do the engage. Assign students a role, who would be in charge of materials, collecting data, etc.

For the explain again split into grade level small groups. Teacher does the explain as direct instruction with one group while the other does a tier 2 independent activity or they can do the optional elaborate or STEM Career Connections for 20 mins and then switch the grade levels.
The students can do the evaluate in groups/partners/independent and then you can come back together as a whole class and discuss the evaluate.
