Mission Statement
The mission of Lydia Romero-Cruz Academy School Counseling Program is for all students to have equitable access to a comprehensive, data driven, multi-domain school counseling program designed to support academic, career goals, and social-emotional needs. We advocate for equity, access and success for every student through individual counseling, small groups, and school-wide universal support. This is accomplished through collaborative efforts between parents/guardians, school staff, stakeholders and community members to enable all students to become successful, productive citizens and lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world.
Vision Statement
The vision of the Lydia Romero-Cruz Academy School Counseling program is that all students will develop their individual strengths, abilities, and competencies requisite skills necessary to be 21st century ready. We believe that all students have the ability to reach their maximum potential by developing their strength in academic, social/emotional, and college/career development that will empower students to achieve their full potential to become responsible citizens through sustained personal growth.
