What do those words mean? Learn about some of the library words you might see on this website.

Call Number - the numbers and letters that tell you where in the library to find the book

Catalog - You might also hear us say "library catalog." This is a tool we use to search the books we have in the library. (It's like Google, but just for our library.)

Destiny Discover - This is the name of our catalog.

Spine - the side of a book. You'll find the call number on a label at the bottom of a spine.

Sora - This is the name of the district's eBook collection. You can read these books on just about any electronic device. There's even an app for your phone.
