Google Classroom:
Daily assignments (lessons and HW) will be posted in Google Classroom. I always post the answer keys for the notes. This will be helpful for studying or for when a student is absent. Videos for each lesson will be included.
If you are absent - you are responsible for completing the lesson that you missed.
Grades will be posted in Google Classroom and updated weekly.

Weekly Agenda:
The weekly agenda will be posted in the Google Classroom stream at the start of each week. This will include the homework assignments.
**The agenda can change at any time.
Homework:
Homework will be assigned most days.
HW will be checked daily. HW will be collected and graded 1-2 times per week.
Late work will be accepted but you will lose points based on how late the assignment was turned in.
Grading:
Tests, quizzes, homework and other activities will be graded on a point system.
Grades will be posted in Google Classroom and updated weekly.
I use different emojis in the Google Classroom gradebook to differentiate between the quarters.
For QUARTER 1, the emoji is 🍂🏈. Each graded assignment will contain this emoji.
For QUARTER 2, the emoji is ___. Each graded assignment will contain this emoji.

Calculator Resources:
We use a TI-84 graphing calculator. I have a class set for the students to use but I do not have enough for students to take home. You may purchase one if you'd like but this is NOT required. There are also free apps/websites to use for a graphing calculator.

Extra Help:
I stay after for extra help on Monday (every other week) & Tuesday in room 606. I cannot stay after every Monday - this will be written on the classroom board each week.
Chromebooks:
Fully-charged Chromebooks should be brought to class daily. Students should always bring their chargers with them so that they can charge if needed.
Chromebooks should be charged each night so that students are prepared for class each day.
Supplies:
Pencils/Erasers
3-Ring Binder (1"-1.5") - bring to class everyday
folder or binder - to remain home (transfer all work to your at-home binder at the end of each unit)
Fully-charged Chromebook - brought to class daily
Calculator - class set to remain in classroom
Headphones/earbuds for Delta Math videos, etc.
Bathroom Passes:
The students are all given 3 bathroom passes to use during our class each quarter. Any unused bathroom passes will be extra credit at the end of the quarter.
Corrections:
I allow corrections on HW assignments. Students can complete corrections on any HW assignment for half the points back. These should be completed on a separate sheet of paper - both the corrections and the original assignment should be handed in to me. All work must be shown for corrections, this includes MC and T/F questions - write an explanation or show math! This should be done in a timely manner.
I will decide if I will allow corrections on any other assignments throughout the year.
Students SHOULD NOT rely on corrections. Take advantage of review sessions and review your notes daily to prepare for assessments.

Bring all materials to class each day (pencil & charged chromebook!)
Complete class assignments on time
Participate in class, ask questions, stay for extra help as needed
Be friendly, be kind, be nice!
