About the Club

We are a student-led organization dedicated to making our school, community, and world a better place through service and fundraising for various charities. Our diligence combined with our core values of leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness work together to make an impact. Our service hours are typically spent at local events and fundraisers, helping out where ever we are needed. We fundraise through bake sales, auctions, etc. and the money raised by those events go to district charities.

With over 40 members, Key Club is one of the biggest clubs at KHS and collaboration and teamwork are driving forces in our success. Key Club gives students the opportunity to have fun with friends while giving back to their community. Working together at different projects and events encourages members to meet new people within the club and community, as well as other clubs.

Another appeal to Key Club is the variety of the events we do. Members are allowed to choose which events they go to, enabling them to be a part of projects that interest them the most. For people who enjoy working with kids, we do several events with Believe in Books like the Journey to The North Pole. For artistic people, we do facepainting and arts and crafts at many festivals and fundraisers through out the year. Beyond service, members have the ability to run for elected office. These positions require many different skills with leadership, communication, mathematics, marketing, technology, etc.

We take pride in our reputation, accomplishments, and hard work, but it's our capacity to make a difference that motivates us. Each member has the ability to choose how they get involved, to choose their amount of involvement, and to apply their creativity and personality to their work, allowing everyone to create the Key Club experience they desire.

We are a part of the

"I slept and dreamt that life was joy.
I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy."

-Rabindranath Tagore
