Choose Your Own Adventure
Choose Your Own Adventure
Summer reading is a tradition for many high school students across the country.
We have provided a list of diverse options, found here on this website, for students who need some help making a decision on books! Use the genre-based tabs at the tops of this page to read more about the options. It's important to note that the books suggested on this website are just that, suggestions, if these book don't interest you, that's okay!
Here is a link to help you sign-up for a Rogers Memorial Library Card!
This year, Alvirne High School offers even greater choice for our summer reading program. Students can choose any school-appropriate book they want, as long as they sign up here with that title by June 14th, 2024.
Summer Reading Challenge!
This year the English Department is holding a summer challenge! Pick one (or more!) of the challenges provided HERE and complete three of the goals (one has to be reading the book that fits the theme) and submit evidence to Mrs. Denis. Your name will be entered into a raffle for the 2024-2025 school year!
