A little about me.....

Hi, I am Mrs. Lauren Dow.  This is my 20th year in education.  I am happy to start my seventh year at Gilmanton School.  I have had many teaching experiences including: teaching in grades K-6, music educator, and math specialist.  I have a K-8 Elementary Education degree, a K-12 music degree, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and have taken an additional 45 education credits. I continue to take courses, attend workshops and seminars in all subject areas to keep up with best practices for improving student achievement.  I currently reside in Center Barnstead with my husband Brian and our two girls, Makenna and Paisleigh.  Our family would also not be complete without mentioning our cats Gyro and Luna and our canines , Scooter, Klondike and Zelda.  As a family, we enjoy traveling, being outdoors, playing hockey and watching the Boston Bruins! I like to read, knit, cook, bake, exercise by doing yoga and visit with family and friends.
