This is an animation of NASA NEO's Solar insulation. Solar insulation shows where the sun has direct and indirect sunlight. The sun is on a tilt, so when it spins, the places where there is direct sunlight change. The white part of the GIF shows where there is direct sunlight. Where there is direct sunlight, there is lots of warmth.

This is the solar insulation gif's key. on the top right corner, there is a W/m2. This is the Watts Per Square Meter. The lighter it looks, the more watts of sunlight per square meter it is getting. 550 means that there is a lot of insulation in that one square meter. the 0 means not a lot or no insulation in that square meter
