Supplies by Instrument

Ellis Music Company delivers to us on Tuesdays so you can order through them and it will be delivered. Instruments should be sent in every few years for mantenance. 

Flute

Required: Cleaning Rod, Cleaning cloth (cotton or silk not felt).

Clarinet

Required: 5-10 size 3 (or harder) Clarinet Reeds (Rico or Vandoren), Cleaning Swab (silk or cotton not felt), Cork Grease

Optional: Thumb Cushion, Mouthpiece brush, Reed Case, neck strap

Saxophone

Required: 5-10 Size 3 Reeds (Rico make sure you select alto or tenor), Neck Strap (neotech are next step up), Cleaning Swab (silk or cotton not felt), Cork Grease

Optional: Mouthpiece Brush, Reed Case

Trumpet

Required: Valve Oil, Cleaning Cloth (any soft cloth will do) Tuning slide Grease, Cleaning kit

Trombone

Required: Slide Cream, Cleaning Cloth (any soft cloth will do)

Recommended: Small Spray bottle (finger style not trigger style) CLEANING KIT

Guitar/Bass/Strings

Required: Pick (when appropriate), Replacement strings (personal preference)

Optional: Strap, Tuner

Piano (please contact about piano students as they must audition)

Will be provided at school but there must be a piano to practice at home. 

Percussion

You will be expected to practice at home so you need to have 7 A drumsticks LABELED WITH THEIR NAME and a drum or drum pad. You will be expected to perform on bells as well.
