We are learning about relitive location, the relitive location of anything helps people find specific places easier to find or to get to. An example is the relative location of Hopkinton to Henniker, NH is at least 8.79 miles away. To the east of NH is Maine, to the west is Vermont, to the north is Quebec, and to the south is Massachusetts. Those are relative locations of NH.
In Hopkinton we have a lot of rivers and bridges, we spend a lot of time near those places and they take up much of Hopkinton. We don't have many restaurants, but we do have restaurant chains such as Dimitris and Dunkin donuts. We also have three schools in Hopkinton and a town library that got struck by lightning and had to go under construction. There are hills on the outside of town, we have apple orchards and Bohanan Farm is in Hopkinton. Also the covered bridge in Hopkinton has been replaced 2 times because of floods.
For cultural geography we have live music at the covered bridge restaurant we have some antique stores and some clothes stores. We also have the rope swing on the Contoocook river that everyone uses during the summer. The covered bridge is a historical monument in Hopkinton. You can also go kayaking on the Contoocook river. There are big sports fields for athletics and at the library we have paths and areas that you can hangout and relax.
