Hopkinton is smack on the centerline going to the top and to the bottom of NH. The Relative location of Hopkinton is slightly north and west of Concord which is the capital of New Hampshire. The-absolute location is lat: 43.1948 degrees N and Long: 71.6911 degrees W. There is a well-known orchard that tourists go to and its absolute location is latitude: 43.2210 degrees N and longitude: 71.6894 degrees W.
Physical Geography! In Hopkinton could be the Contoocook River which is a really cool phenomenon that not a lot of towns have. I didn’t have any lakes or rivers in my last town in Massachusetts. Another interesting thing about Hopkinton is that it rains almost every day or two. Also, the dams in Hopkinton are REALLY cool if you stand at the edge. Also, the leaves turn from bright green to a really pretty yellow, orange, and red and then they fall off when winter comes.
Cultural Geography! In Hopkinton is The library and the park(s) behind it are really nice to walk through at sunset. Where, if you like flowers and walking through paths you would like this too with the trees that were, most likely, planted by someone. We also have metal roofs because in the winter it snows a lot and rains all year long so the metal roofs are like EXTRA protection. We also have the oldest covered bridge in our entire state.
