30 degrees North is where the dry air creates deserts. Also where air rises and sinks back down to the equator. Also 30 degrees north is the sahara desert. Also when the air rises it's warm but when it lowers it's colder air. Also it's where the air gets blowed out to the sides by the wind when it's trying to get to the poles.
