A homework packet will be sent home on Mondays and this packet is due back on Friday. This packet will include a reading log and 4 math fact practice sheets.

Reading Log: students are expected to read a book at their reading level for at least 20 minutes a night. On the reading log, the students should write their name and the book that they are reading. The students are also expected to write are what they read each night. Reading each night will help improve a student's fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and it can be fun!

Math Fact Sheets: Students will complete 1 math fact sheet each night. The students should be timed for 2 minutes. This is to practice math fact fluency which is a District Wide Assessment. It is a good idea to go back and complete the problems that you did not finish in the 2 minute time period. If you are stuck on a multiplication fact draw a picture, an array, or skip count.
