ELO Components

Reflection

By the end of each student's ELO they should be able to communicate their growth. This is accomplished by connecting regularly with their Faculty Advisor, the ELO Coordinator and their Community Partner(when applicable). Bi-weekly reflection questions(located in your ELO contract) will help guide this process and allow you to better connect it to your learning.

Research

Students will work with their Faculty Advisor, the ELO Coordinator and their Community Partner(when applicable) to identify learning objectives. They will support their learning through formal and informal research methods and adjust their research along the way. Each ELO will have competency-specific rubrics that will guide the student's learning.

Product

Students will demonstrate their new knowledge and apply an understanding of what they learned by creating a tangible product that relates to their interest, skills and abilities.

Presentation

Students will share out their experience and talk through their reflection, research and share their final product with the ELO team. This represents an opportunity for students to share their knowledge and skills and connect their learning to their life and hopefully to their future goals.
