ELO Coordinator

The ELO Coordinator works with students interested in pursuing Extended Learning Opportunities which consist of Work-Based Learning, Internships, Job Shadows, Teacher Assistant, Private Instruction, Travel and Independent Studies. In addition the ELO Coordinator teaches Senior Exiting: College Planning and Senior Exiting: Career Planning and provides guidance to students with regard to resume writing and mock interviews. The ELO Coordinator works closely with the R.W. Creteau Technology Center Director and Great Bay Community College to build pathway programs for students to earn high school credit, college credit, and industry certifications. In addition, they work with strategic business partners to understand the current workforce needs within the Tri-City. Through these partnerships we are able to better prepare students for 2 or 4-year college opportunities or direct entry into the workforce.


Mrs. Jerr

Mrs. Jerr joined the Spaulding School Counseling department in the summer of 2018 and transitioned to the ELO Coordinator role in the spring of 2019. Mrs. Jerr came to Spaulding from Granite State College where she worked in Admissions and served as an Academic Advisor. Prior to working at GSC, she spent six years working for School Year Abroad in North Andover, MA. At SYA she worked with students preparing to spend their junior or senior year of high school abroad in China, France, Italy or Spain. Mrs. Jerr sits on the Board of Directors for Rochester Main Street and the Board of Directors for the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. She loves living and working in the Rochester community and enjoys connecting students to the many opportunities that exist outside of the traditional classroom. Mrs. Jerr is the proud mom of five year old triplets who you’ll often see tagging along at Spaulding sporting events.
