Research: Students will work with their Faculty Advisor, the ELO Coordinator and their Community Partner(when applicable) to identify learning objectives. They will support their learning through formal and informal research methods and adjust their research along the way. Each ELO will have competency-specific rubrics that will guide the student's learning.

Examples of research activities:

• Utilizing and referencing professional publications/resources

• Participating in job shadows/internship experiences

• Conducting informational interviews

• Utilizing and referencing educational videos

• Utilizing and referencing current events

• Utilizing and referencing online/print materials

• Creating an annotated resource list

• Documenting research weekly through reflective journaling
