In the spring of 2024, the Portsmouth School Board revitalized its Redistricting Committee. The committee became an official committee of the board. It  is now co-chaired by two school board members and is tasked with studying the current elementary school maps. Through that work, the committee will make a recommendation on any potential changes for the Fall of 2025 to the school board in December/January. The board will then consider whether to take action.
