The World Ready Hub is the home of Portsmouth High School’s global programming that offers students a variety of immersive experiences and opportunities to take their learning to the next level and apply it to the world around them. When students engage in World Ready activities, they will develop skills and knowledge for the future that will help them become ‘world ready’ global citizens. Our programming encourages students to improve themselves, develop leadership potential, and make a difference locally, nationally, and internationally.

The programming provided by the World Ready Hub are driven by the UN’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development. The 17 Global Goals were created in 2015 in hopes of creating a better world by 2030 by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. These goals serve as excellent teaching tools for students to explore the world through a global lens and challenge them to find solutions for the future. Through the World Ready Hub, Portsmouth High School hopes to provide thought-provoking opportunities, activities, and resources to motivate and inspire our students to become informed and active citizens, and build the world they want to grow up in.
