Welcome to PHS!
If you are a current 8th grade student, this is the page where you will begin your journey. Use the information from the video and included below to navigate your course selection process. Laurie Relinski, your 9th grade counselor, will be visiting your schools to share more information and to answer additional questions. We will also be hosting a Course Selection night -
all details included below.
Important Dates
Step One: ONLINE ENROLLMENT for PHS - deadline 3/29/2024
(Required for SAU50 students AND transfer students who are new to the district. This is not required if you are currently enrolled at the Portsmouth Middle School.)

Step Two: Complete the Course Selection Worksheet and submit to your middle school counselor by 3/15/2024
January-February 2024: Explore the Program of Studies
March 5th & 7th: PHS School Counselor will visit PMS for course selection workshops.
March 8th: PHS School Counselor will visit SAU50 for course selection workshops.
March 12 or 13 (tentative dates): 8th Grade Open House
March 15th: Course Selection Worksheet is due to middle school counselors or designated middle school teacher.
March 29th, 2024: Deadline to enroll students on Infinite Campus (SAU 52)
June/July, 2024: Student schedules for SY '23-'24 released
August/September 2024: All 9th grade students start the school year together for Freshman Orientation before the rest of the students join the following day.
