Handicap seating for the outdoor ceremony will be first come, first served. There are a large number of seats available on the field as well as limited handicap seating in the bleachers (accessed by ramps). If you require this seating, we suggest you arrive early. To prepare in advance for handicap seating in the event of an indoor ceremony, please contact the Grade 12 Office before June 5th to arrange seating for any of your 5 indoor tickets.
The parking lot closest to the field house/field will be reserved for handicap parking. For those without a handicapped tag, spectators can be dropped off there as well.
A golf cart will be available to help transport people to the field from the handicap parking area.
Clipper Awards
Students will be emailed if they are being honored and asked to pick up their invitation at lunch the week prior to the ceremony. This awards night features the Bartlett Speaking Contest as well as a combination of awards given from PHS or outside organizations to PHS juniors and seniors. This includes but is not limited to NH Scholars, Marine Awards, college Book Awards, Seal of Biliteracy, Haven Medals, etc.
Senior Awards
This ceremony is for school recognized awards for the senior class. It happens during the school day assembly the day before graduation. Parents/guardians of recipients will be called the week prior to inform them if their student will be honored so they can attend. This ceremony is not open to the public otherwise. These awards include but are not limited to athletic awards, visual and performing art awards, naming the Bartlett Speaker, etc.
Scholarship Awards
Students will be emailed if they are being honored and asked to pick up their invitation at lunch the week prior to the ceremony. This is the awards night for all the local scholarships. While some committees will choose to tell recipients in advance, many will not alert the winner's of their award prior to the awards night.
We try our best to keep the graduation ceremony to 90 minutes. This can run a bit longer depending on the number of graduates walking and length of the speeches given.
Gates will open at 4:30PM
Unfortunately, we can not accommodate additional ticket requests nor do we take back unused tickets from families. In the event your family needs additional tickets, we suggest having the student ask around to friends and classmates if anyone will have unused tickets.
Yes! We will have a staff member live stream the event in the Nichinan Theater during graduation in the event your family does not have enough tickets or someone would prefer to sit indoors. Enter through the main office doors prior to graduation starting, walk diagnally to the right when you walk in down the hallway towards the library/nurse/guidance. The theater will be on your right directly before the library.
