Hello, and welcome to a new school year! I am so excited to have your child in my class. This year will be full of new, fun, and challenging learning opportunities. I can't wait to get started.
I am entering my fourth year teaching at RMMS. I have taught previously taught 5th grade. I was a first grade teacher and have made the switch to teach 3rd grade!
A Little Bit About Me!
Growing up, I was a competitive dancer. My younger sister and I would spend hours after school preparing for our next competition or recital. I tried all styles of dance including jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, and modern. My dance team became my second family and I am still close with all of them to this day.
I love going to concerts! I will find any excuse to attend a concert and will love every moment of it. I attended my very first concert in fourth grade and it was the Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus tour. Since then, I have seen Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Bret Michaels, The Dropkick Murphys, Kendrick Lamar, Brett Young, Thomas Rhett, and Morgan Wallen to name a few. I think concerts are a great way to experience the music that we all love so much.
My favorite time of the year is the fall. My husband and I love going to all of the spooky attractions that happen leading up to Halloween which happens to be my favorite holiday. Our favorite place is Haunted Overload in Lee but it is not for the faint of heart. They have many scary costumes including a headless horseman who rides around the farm.
In my free time, you can finding me doing a variety of things. I enjoy watching true crime documentaries and I am always looking for new recommendations to my ever growing list. I also enjoy going on scenic rides with my husband. This will often involve riding passenger on the back of his motorcycle or in his '88 mustang. We love going on different rides to find the best ice cream in the state of New Hampshire. My top choice is Goldenrod in Manchester NH because I love their Mocha Chip ice cream. I also love making charcuterie boards. I love spending time making them for family and friends. They allow me to become creative with cheese, crackers, meats, and other yummy items.
I cannot wait to learn more about each of you. If there is anything else you would like to know, please feel free to ask!
