An artifact table is an active exploratory lesson held in the Library that encourages students to dig into documents, items, and information to gain a better understanding of the historical contexts for a literary work. Our tables are arranged with a variety of items for students to explore. This is not a seated activity. Students are expected and encouraged to mill around to investigate all of the information presented.
It takes a little time to set up an artifact table for class use, so please use this form so we can plan to prepare a thorough experience for your students.
We look forward to collaborating with you.
