Lamprey River Elementary School (LRES) was built in 1976. The original school building was an open concept design.  Since then, the building has undergone many changes, including the addition of portables, kindergarten classrooms, and the addition of walls and doors to enclose classrooms and other learning and work spaces.  There are currently five classes at each grade level, kindergarten through third grade.   As of the start of school in August 2025, the K-3 building is home to 315 elementary school students.
