The Sanborn Regional High School Chapter of the Tri-M National Music Honor Society was established in 2018. The Tri-M Music Honor Society is a nationally recognized program through the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). Currently, there are 2,100 chapters in all 50 states which involve more than 84,000 students.
In order to be admitted into to the honor society, students must excel in both their regular academic courses as well as their music ensembles and exhibit leadership qualities. The purpose of our chapter is to: provide an appropriate method for recognizing the musical achievements of our members, strengthen our school’s music program, help our members reach their full musical potential, motivate and recognize our members’ musical and personal achievements, credits, and grades, encourage our members to work together toward the same goal, inspire and challenge our members, and focus public attention on our school’s music program through community service.
