During the course of the year, your child may be invited to have a buddy lunch with Ms. Gardella or Ms. Petela.
A Lunch Bunch is a group-oriented intervention often used by school counselors. A small group of students (ideally 2-4 ) meet on a regular basis with a school counselor to eat lunch and make peer connections in a smaller setting. The goal of this intervention is to help students positively and proactively connect with peers while working on specific skills (e.g turn taking, listening, C.A.R.E.S ect.) for about 4-6 weeks.
