Word Work

"Reading unlocks our curriculum. Greek and Latin roots unlock reading." Art Rivet (that's me!)

We read to learn. Please Note, prefixes, roots, and suffixes may have more than one meaning. Our word work is centered around the meanings as listed. Reading must make sense and this list helps students break apart words into their component parts as they make sense out of the words, sentences, paragraphs, and the literary work as a whole (By the way, "Lit," number 121 on our list, means to read :)
